When a person's ability to communicate is impaired, the impact on that person and loved ones can be devastating. This is where Speech Language Pathologists can help. Speech Language Pathologists are healthcare professionals that specialize in the assessment and treatment of speech, language and swallowing disorders.

A Speech Language Pathologist offers treatment for a variety of language disorders, covering all aspects of communication: producing speech, understanding speech, reading and writing.

Nerissa Taylor, M.A., M.H.Sc., Certified Speech Language Pathologist, Reg. CASLPO

I received my Master of Health Sciences degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Ottawa. With over 10 years of experience treating children and adults with a variety of speech, language, and swallowing issues, I bring a wealth of knowledge to each individual's care. As the proud mother of two young children, I uniquely understand the importance of communication within the family unit and am deeply committed to enhancing the lives of my clients and their loved ones through compassionate and effective therapy.

I provide English and French services in-person to clients in London and surrounding area and virtually to clients who reside in Ontario. I am committed to providing quality care to people with communication disorders. Through consultation with the client and their loved ones, I carefully tailor therapy programs to work toward the goals set by the family and the client.
